Call for Research Papers 2021
In Nepal various academic institutions are engaged in research and publication activities. Universities, institutes, and research centers publish scholarly journals that are based on original research related to the respective disciplines. Some of them venture to cross the disciplinary borders and redraw new boundaries of interdisciplinary as well as multicultural issues. Yet they have been inadequate to cater the needs of growing number of intellectuals who are more interested in research and publication activities than before.
In this context Molung Foundation has decided to call for research papers to be published in its scholarly journal Molung Educational Frontier Volume 11, to be published in June 2021. The manuscript should be based on grounded theory and original research in any field on any topic/issue that can contribute to the development of self-sustained and equitable society. Our focus is on good governance and sustainable development that lead to the prosperity of the nation and society as a whole.
Therefore, I would like to invite the call for research papers from interested individuals and/or groups as per the following time table. Please note that the interested researchers should register their names by submitting the letter of interest (loIs) with preliminary research plan not later than January 7, 2021. Then we will hold a virtual discussion meeting on January 9, Saturday afternoon for which I will send the zoom link to those who confirm their registration by sending the letter of interest before January 7.
Please prepare your LoI with the preliminary research plan in the following format:
- Your bio note of who you are, in which subject/discipline you have been awarded with master’s or doctor’s degree, and where you are working now in 50-100 words in the first paragraph
- Your research plan that includes what you are going to study (topic with research question(s) based on background knowledge); why you want to study it (purpose/objective); how it contributes to the development (significance); and how you study it (your conceptual/theoretical framework and methodological approach) in the second paragraph
- Your expression of interest to do original research and the declaration of your commitment to strictly follow the suggestions and decisions of Editorial Board in the third paragraph
